Fix Back Pain with This Simple Foot Trick!
If your back and hamstrings are tight, skip the stretches and grab a tennis or golf ball.
Back pain and tight hamstrings are some of the most common things I see in my clients, and luckily, there is an easy stretch you can do to improve flexibility and relieve tightness in seconds. All you’ll need are two tennis balls and some space. Sit down, place a ball under each foot, and roll it out for at least 10 seconds. Then try standing on the ground and stretching your hamstrings again. Oftentimes, you’ll be surprised at how your flexibility has improved.
This simple exercise helps with back pain and tight hamstrings because your entire posterior chain goes all the way from the bottom of the foot up around the skull to the forehead. All of that is fascia, the connective tissues, and because we wear shoes so much, that entire chain starting with our feet, can get really tight.
So if you’re having back pain, please, for the love of God, stop stretching your hamstrings. Keep some balls like this around your desk, you’ll fix the problem in no time.
